Kealey started acting in Drumheller at the age of 10 on the stage of the Canadian Badlands Passion Play in front of audiences of 2000 plus. Needless to say, after this experience he was hooked! He would go on to hone his craft and cut his teeth on the stage with Kaleidoscope Theatre in Drumheller until he found himself moving in the direction of Film & Television with productions like Shanghai Noon and the Matthew Shepherd Story.

After moving away from Drumheller Kealey found himself working on the technical side of theatre in Medicine Hat creating lighting designs for productions of Beauty & the Beast and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at the Esplanade Theatre. After this Kealey took a brief hiatus from acting to get married and start a new family, but would soon find himself drawn back to community theatre with Taber Players in Taber, Alberta. After a disappointing work fiasco his wife encouraged him to seek out a new agent in Calgary and push harder with his passion of acting.

Kealey can seen in productions such as Mayflower II, Tin Star, FX's Fargo, Damnation, Wynonna Earp, Black Summer, Heartland, Tribal, and Guilty Party. He is also an avid supporter and fan of Alberta's independent film scene and loves working with passionate story tellers.
